King Abdulaziz University continues unremitting efforts to create integrated scientific and practical environment. It aims at building knowledge society and harnessing all potentials to support advancement of research, development, and scientific and practical creativity. Vice Presidency for Business and Knowledge Creativity devotes all potentials to serve the vision set by university as key element of its strategic plan.
Issuance of the new universities law, which goes in line with Saudi ambitious vision 2030, will enable universities to support national system for research, innovation, and entrepreneurship. This system is based primarily on high quality educational outcomes. New universities law will contribute to boost this system with a view to support scientific research, innovation, authorship, translation, publication, regulations of scientific societies, research chairs, research and innovation centers, and entrepreneurship at universities. This will certainly contribute to raise quality of university outcomes, and promote research and knowledge production.
Therefore, Vice Presidency for Business and Knowledge Creativity played key role in transforming King Abdulaziz University into a productive knowledge environment. Through pioneering in business development and supporting elements of innovation and creativity, the vice presidency transforms aspects of science, knowledge, and creativity into tangible reality and practical applications. This in turn has effective impact on the growth and success of knowledge economy in Saudi Arabia. Inspired by the Saudi vision, the vice presidency supports research, innovation, and knowledge creativity and aims at achieving best of results in service of youth of the nation and in support of local economy through systematic and well-thought plans.
